Expert discussion of the National Grand Theatre

Left two: expert of the central Symphony Orchestra, right two: expert of the National Theatre.

A few days ago, the technology topic of "how to meet the needs of users" was invited by the central Symphony Orchestra and the National Grand Theater to discuss the technical issues at the National Theatre. This will effectively promote the rapid upgrading and research of the digital stage command and dispatch system, and the rapid integration of the cultural industry and high technology.

User centered design is the eternal theme of product design and R & D. Now that users are placed in the highest position to meet the needs of users, designers must understand users before they understand products. Because different user needs are different, the peer expert users are invited to review the requirements specification to do the best to make the requirements specs correctly reflect the user's true wishes.

Although intermediate users occupy most of the proportion of all user groups, the expert user is the goal of many intermediate users, which can greatly improve the impact of the product. For ordinary users, expert users' operation demonstration or customary skills play a positive role in promoting their decision to continue using the product. Expert users themselves are very experienced, or are familiar with similar products. They can get great achievements and satisfaction from the control of the product itself. In terms of product shortcuts, mouse drag and drop techniques, finger touch details, designers need to spend a lot of energy to meet the expert users, including the consistency between the shortcut keys and the operating skills in different products, the visual effect of the target, the response speed of the mouse pull, the strength feedback intensity of the controller keypad, and so on. In addition, if you design some hidden higher-order operation mode, it will bring an incomparable pleasure to the expert users.
